During Urban Meyer’s call-in radio show Thursday afternoon, sophomore wide receiver Austin Mack and his availability was brought up.
Mack, a 6-foot-2 pass-catcher from Indiana, had been in concussion protocol but is cleared for practice today.
“He’s going to practice full today,” Meyer said. “He did a good job, and we’re very cautious [with head injuries]. Great catch, and he’s going to be a heck of a player for us.”
As long as Mack stays healthy, he should be a go for Ohio State’s Week 3 game against Army on Saturday. The game is set for a 4:30 p.m. ET start and will be televised on FOX.
Mack has two catches for 37 yards so far this season, with one catch going for six yards against Indiana and the other for 31 yards against Oklahoma.
