Ohio State defensive back Cam Burrows will probably miss the 2016 season due to an injury, head coach Urban Meyer said at a Wednesday press conference.
A redshirt junior, Burrows missed most of the 2015 season with a foot injury. Burrows has been slowed down by the injury bug after playing in 14 games during Ohio State’s national championship run in 2014. He had 17 tackles that season, and he has 28 on his career.
The former 4-star recruit played as a true freshman in the 2013 campaign, mostly on special teams. Burrows was not listed on the Buckeyes’ initial depth chart of the season, which was released earlier this week.
