Ohio State coach Urban Meyer announced Sunday that sophomore defensive lineman Darius Slade will miss the entire 2016 season with an Achilles injury.
Slade appeared in seven games last season as a redshirt freshman.
Joining Slade on the injury report is junior-college transfer Malcolm Pridgeon, who will miss three months with a knee injury. Pridgeon was rated a 4-star offensive tackle by 247Sports.com.
Pridgeon was expected to compete for a starting job on the O-line.
