SAN ANTONIO – The end of the prestigious high school career of Tate Martell is just five days away. The country’s second-ranked dual-threat quarterback, a three-time national champion who Tuesday was named the MaxPreps.com National Player of the Year, is getting set to play his final prep game on Saturday, when he hopes to lead the West team to victory in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
When that game ends, Martell will pack his bags and head to Columbus, Ohio, to begin his career as with the Ohio State Buckeyes. After practice Tuesday in Texas, Martell spoke with Land of 10 about his expectations for the week, the recent coaching change at Ohio State and his goals when he starts his Buckeyes career.
