Just moments after adding the 15th commitment in their 2017 recruiting class, Urban Meyer and Ohio State put their first 2018 commitment on the books. Armwood (Seffner, Fla.) 4-star running back Brian Snead committed to the Buckeyes at the conclusion of Friday Night Lights.

The country’s sixth-ranked running back in 2018, Snead was making his first ever visit to Ohio State and, if his Twitter feed was any indication, he was feeling things from the start, spending time with Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes coaching staff.

Snead selected Ohio State over scholarship offers from Michigan, North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina and others. He’s a 5-foot-11, 180-pound running back that has an excellent blend of speed and power in his game. Ohio State offered the ninth-ranked prospect in Florida’s 2018 recruiting group in May of 2015.
Landof10.com will have more on the commitment of Brian Snead, Ohio State’s first 2018 pledge, soon.
