Russell Wilson made a bet that came back to bite him. The Seattle Seahawks star and Super Bowl-winning quarterback thought his Wisconsin Badgers would take down Ohio State for the Big Ten title on Saturday.
Wilson was so confident in the Badgers that he made a bet with a Seahawks ball boy. Ohio State won 27-21 against Wisconsin, and Wilson — who spent his senior season at Wisconsin in 2011 — lost the bet.
So, on Wednesday, Wilson posted a video of himself wearing an Ohio State jersey (Troy Smith’s No. 10 from the 2007 Fiesta Bowl to be exact) on Twitter.

“If you’re a competitor, you got to do some bets once in a while. You have to believe in your teams, the people you’re supporting,” Wilson said in the video.
The former Badgers quarterback and three-time Pro Bowl pick said he agreed to wear the scarlet-and-gray jersey all week.
