Ohio State basketball has found the point guard of its 2017 recruiting class.
Braxton Beverly, a 3-star point-guard from Hazard, Ky., has added his name to the Buckeyes’ class.

Currently playing at Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia, Beverly is the No. 17-ranked recruit out of his home state of Kentucky and is the No. 62 point guard in the nation, according to 247 Sports.
He was a captain on the 2016 national championship team at Hargrave and scored 70 points in a game in 2016.
Beverly also had offers from George Washington and Miami (OH).
He joins 4-star center Kaleb Wesson from Westerville South (Ohio) as the Buckeyes’ first two recruits of their 2017 recruiting class.
