What happens when you lead your team to an overtime win on the road against a top-10 foe? Well, you win some awards.
One day after being named the Big Ten’s Co-Offensive Player of Week, Ohio State QB J.T. Barrett picked up another honor. He is the Davey O’Brien Quarterback of the Week winner.

In the 30-23 win at Wisconsin, Barrett passed for 226 yards and 1 TD and also rushed for 92 yards and 2 TDs in the prime-time clash.
Barrett is the first Big Ten winner of the weekly Davey O’Brien award this season. The Davey O’Brien Award will announce its 16 semifinalists on Nov. 10, though the eventual winner is not required to have won the weekly honor.
