Ohio State punter Cameron Johnston was only one Buckeyes player to star in Saturday’s 45-24 win at Oklahoma.
But he’s another player to win an award.
Johnston is the Ray Guy Award’s punter of the week after helping the Buckeyes roll on the road. Johnston averaged 50.6 yards per punt, with all five of his punts downed inside the 20. Oklahoma started as far back as its 1-yard line as Johnston forced the Sooners to embark on long drives if they wanted to score.
