Urban Meyer was impressed with the Ohio State student body for its effort on Saturday night.
They not only made it a tough environment for opposing Nebraska in a must-win, top-10 matchup, but they were respectful in a sensitive situation, Meyer said.
In the email, he thanked the Buckeye students for making it an “electric and awesome atmosphere” in Ohio Stadium on Saturday night. Meyer also noted he was impressed with the way Buckeye students responded when Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong went down with a serious injury and had to be carted off the field.
“Your sincere applause and heartfelt cheers for injured Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong were very classy responses that did not go unnoticed by our staff or the millions watching the game. Well done!” he wrote.

All Ohio State students recieved this email from Urban Meyer. And I vehemently agree with him. It was the best crowd at The Shoe all season pic.twitter.com/ZGUu1Bp5kK
