Michael Harris has been a heavy Ohio State lean throughout his recruitment. The 3-star prospect released his list of top seven schools on Saturday, and includes the Buckeyes with Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Auburn, LSU and South Carolina.

The linebacker from Tucker, Ga., went from a prospect hoping for an offer from the Buckeyes to a player with a chance to return to his home state. Harris spent the first four years of his life in Ohio, and appears to love the idea of going back there for college.
Urban Meyer offered him a scholarship in March, but Harris held off on committing. He wanted to make sure his SAT/ACT scores are high enough for him to qualify. Harris wasn’t shy about his intentions.
“One hundred percent,” Harris told Land of 10’s Jeremy Birmingham when asked what the chances of a commitment to Ohio State would be if he secures the necessary test scores. “I’d love to go to Alabama, Georgia, Auburn. Those are nice schools. But growing up? The Ohio State is my school. It’s where I want to go.
“It’s cold up there, but I’m not worried.”
The 247Sports composite ranks Harris as the No. 14 inside linebacker in the country and the No. 33 Georgia player in the Class of 2018.
