Cameron Brown to decide Dec. 20
Ohio State landed a key contributor on Tuesday when 4-star wide receiver Kamryn Babb committed, and one of his high school teammates could soon join him in Columbus.
Cameron Brown, another 4-star receiver out of St. Louis Christian Brothers, posted on Twitter that he’ll announce his college decision Wednesday and sign that same day as a part of the early signing period.
I will be signing on December 20th at 12:15 @ CBC High School 🙏🏾 This crazy recruiting journey will come to an end soon 🙌🏾 #Blessed

Brown is currently committed to Nebraska, but he took an official visit to Ohio State the weekend of Dec. 8. He is the No. 58 wide receiver and No. 339 overall prospect in the 247Sports composite rankings.
When are players signing and enrolling?
The early signing period has already caused a lot of confusion, especially in regard to which players will sign on what date.
Early enrollees will sign during the Dec. 20-22 window, of course, but committed players who won’t arrive until June have a choice of either signing in December or February. The good news for Ohio State fans is that most of the entire current group of commitments will sign early in December.
Marc Givler of Rivals.com put together a chart of where Ohio State’s commitments stand in terms of signing date and enrollment date.
So what happens now to National Signing Day in February? Obviously, it will be diminished if most recruits sign in December, but there are still some high-profile targets out there for the Buckeyes that will sign in February, including 4-star defensive ends Jayson Oweh and Tyreke Smith.
Buckeyes offer Class of 2019 WR
Ohio State wide receiver coach Zach Smith was recently in Virginia, and he apparently liked what he saw. Virginia Beach (Va.) Cox 3-star wide receiver Tayvion Robinson, a Class of 2019 prospect, posted on Twitter on Thursday that he’d been offered by the Buckeyes.

Robinson also has offers from Duke, Maryland, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
Next Generation begins
Each year, Land of 10 writers travel across the country to profile recruits and signees as a part of our Next Generation Series. Last year at Ohio State, we profiled Josh Myers, Chase Young, Thayer Munford, Jaylen Harris, Pete Werner, Blake Haubeil and Ellijah Gardiner.
That series is starting again with a couple of early enrollees. Look out for stories on Master Teague and Max Wray in the next couple of days, to be followed later by bigger feature stories on those players. And as with last year, there will be plenty more to come — especially in the next few months with the players who aren’t enrolling early.
Still not #1 yet.. still got work to do 💯
