On Monday at his weekly press conference, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer told the media that redshirt freshman running back Mike Weber has a sprained shoulder.
The coach said the back will not have contact this week, but that he’s expected to play this weekend against Maryland.
Also asked about Mike Weber. Says it's a sprained shoulder but they expect he will play this week. No contact in practice though. #Buckeyes

Weber apparently sustained the injury in the Buckeyes’ game against Nebraska, a 62-3 victory last Saturday.
In the contest, Weber had 11 carries for 72 yards and a touchdown, as well as one catch for 15 yards.
On the season, he has 842 yards on 140 carries with seven touchdowns. He’s also got 18 catches for 90 yards.
If for some reason Weber isn’t able to go, back/receiver Curtis Samuel as well as running back Dontre Wilson are in line for more carries when the Buckeyes take on Maryland at Noon on Saturday.
