QB Baker Mayfield topped off Oklahoma’s win at Ohio State by waving and planting his school’s flag right at Ohio Stadium’s midfield.

Ohio State fans, players and alumni were not happy with the gesture, but non-Ohio State parts of the internet exploded. On Sunday, someone honored Mayfield’s performance by making him the “owner” of Ohio Stadium on the stadium’s Wikipedia page. Crimson and Cream Machine still has the screenshot, if you’re interested.
Editing a Wikipedia page after a big sports moment is nothing new, but if you ask Michigan fans about this particular instance, they’ll probably think this one was worth it.
Mayfield was 27 for 35 through the air against Ohio State for 386 yards and 3 touchdowns. Ohio State dropped from No. 2 to No. 9 in the AP Top 25 after the loss, while Oklahoma vaulted from No. 5 to No. 2.
