When Ohio State beats Michigan, all is well in the world.
If the Buckeyes take down the Wolverines in the regular season, it’s always great. But, when it takes place in the Big Ten Tournament, it’s that much sweeter.
In the men’s hockey conference tournament semifinal on Saturday night, No. 2 Ohio State faced No. 3 Michigan and the game went into overtime after a 2-2 tie after three periods were played.
Then, not even one minute passed before knowing which team earned the right to face No. 1 seeded Notre Dame in the championship game.
It was Ohio State.
Only 32 seconds passed before the Buckeyes’ Matt Weis found the back of the net.
