Ohio State came into Saturday with a Big Ten top 10 matchup on its hands against a Nebraska team that’s been surprising the conference in 2016. It’s safe to say the Buckeyes got off on the right foot.
On Nebraska’s first drive of the game, Husker quarterback Tommy Armstrong had his pass batted up in the air and Ohio State junior cornerback Damon Webb grabbed it. Webb took the pick, and ran it back for six.

The interception touchdown put Ohio State up 7-0 early, but it also evoked comparisons to the last time these two teams met on the gridiron. Then-Buckeye cornerback Bradley Roby also started the scoring with a pick six.
The 2012 Nebraska/Ohio State game also started the scoring with a OSU Pick Six.

That tidbit is not good news for Husker fans in the slightest; Ohio State won that game 63-38.
