Ohio State will reportedly begin its 2020 season the same way it started the 2016 campaign: With a home game against Bowling Green.
According to FBSchedules.com, the Buckeyes have agreed to host Bowling Green on Sept. 5, 2020, in Columbus. John Wagner of the Toledo Blade also reported the game will happen. The schools have not confirmed the matchup.

Ohio State began the 2016 season with a 77-10 massacre against the Ohio-based MAC school. The Falcons ended up going 4-8 last year.
If the Buckeyes host Bowling Green in 2020, it will serve as a tuneup for what should be a highly anticipated Week 2 showdown against Oregon in Eugene.
The Buckeyes and Ducks agreed to that series in 2012, and Ohio State will get a home game against Oregon in 2021. Pending a future bowl game matchup, the 2020 regular-season meeting will be the first between the teams since they squared off in the national championship game in January 2015.
