Lejond Cavazos joins Ohio State’s 2020 class

Ohio State got a commitment from 2020 safety Lejond Cavazos on Wednesday evening. Cavazos, a 4-star prospect who plays at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., is one of the top defensive backs in his class. He is the second Ohio State commit for 2020, joining tackle Jake Wray.

Why Jaelen Gill is destined for success at Ohio State

Some Ohio State fans might be familiar with Jaelen Gill. The running back was a top-30 recruit in the 2018 class, and the Westerville, Ohio, native is one of the best high school playmakers from the Buckeye State in recent memory. Gill enrolled at Ohio State this month, and before he officially started his Ohio State career, Land of 10’s Ryan Ginn talked to people close to Gill about why he is ready to embrace the large expectations with the Buckeyes.

Marcus Hooker reportedly charged with DUI

Incoming Ohio State freshman Marcus Hooker was reportedly charged with a DUI earlier this month near his hometown of New Castle, Pa. The brother of former Ohio State star Malik Hooker, Marcus Hooker was charged with driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lane, careless driving, no rear lights and purchase of alcoholic beverage by a minor, according to the New Castle News.
