Ohio State makes move for elite RB Devyn Ford

Devyn Ford, one of the top running backs in the 2019 recruiting class, will announce his commitment in May. Ohio State is making a push for the No. 73 player in the class. Ford was in Columbus this weekend and broke down his visit to Land of 10.

“I can see myself at Ohio State,” Ford told Land of 10 following the visit. “The main theme at Ohio State is that if you want to come here, you have to want to be great. That’s how they roll and that’s how Ohio State is.”

Ford is down to the Buckeyes, Virginia Tech and Penn State for his decision. He is set to visit Ohio State again in late April before he commits.

But the contract isn’t out to prove the 53-year-old Meyer is nowhere near retirement. It’s about locking up one of the best coaches in college football, Land of 10’s Ryan Ginn explains.

Ohio State adds to QB depth with walk-on Danny Vanatsky

Danny Vanatsky, a quarterback from Cincinnati, announced his commitment to Ohio State as a preferred walk-on. The Buckeyes currently have four scholarship quarterbacks on their roster. But there is a chance Joe Burrow could transfer following the spring if he does not win the starting quarterback job.
