Ohio State football had seven players taken in the NFL Draft this April, so it should be no surprise that scouts are showing up in droves to watch Buckeyes fall camp.
Fourteen NFL scouts showed up to watch the team practice on Tuesday, director of player personnel Mark Pantoni tweeted.

Having seven players drafted one year doesn’t mean Ohio State will match it the next time around, but given the Buckeyes’ recent recruiting dominance, scouts can get looks even at freshmen and sophomores who might only be a year or two away from leaving college for the NFL. On a team that’s as loaded with talent as Ohio State is, players might only be one breakout season away from prospect status.
