Projecting Ohio State’s 2018 depth chart

Training camp is still a few weeks away, but Ohio State’s roster is essentially locked in for the 2018 season. Urban Meyer knows what players he has as the Buckeyes try to return to the College Football Playoff, but how will the team’s depth chart look on Sept. 1? Land of 10’s Ryan Ginn made his latest projection this week. “The depth chart is a reminder of how much talent Ohio State has accumulated during the last few recruiting cycles,” Ginn writes.

Billy Price cleared to return to football

Billy Price, who suffered a tear of his pectoral muscle during the NFL combine in early March, was cleared to return to the football field this week. A first-round selection by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2018 NFL Draft, Price tweeted he was “fully cleared for football again” on Monday, about three-and-a-half months after the injury. Price was the 21st overall pick in the draft, and the offensive lineman appears he’ll be ready for his first NFL training camp.

Keita Bates-Diop goes 22nd in ESPN NBA mock draft

The 2018 NBA Draft is just two days away, and Keita Bates-Diop is hoping to hear his name in the first round. ESPN thinks the former Ohio State wing will be gone before the 25th pick. In ESPN’s latest mock draft, Bates-Diop went 22nd overall to the Chicago Bulls. “The Bulls have very little depth at the forward spots and will want to try to add as much shooting and multi-positional defense as possible,” ESPN’s Jonathan Givony wrote.
