There’s a few reasons why Bryan Bresee is a coveted defensive end prospect. One reason is his 6-foot-5, 280-pound frame. Another reason is his ability to do incredible things with it, as seen in the video below taken Sunday at Nike’s New Jersey Opening regional.

Bresee, a 5-star recruit from Damascus (Md.) High School, is the No. 1 recruit in the nation for the Class of 2020, according to 247Sports. He has offers from 24 programs, including from several Big Ten teams — Ohio State, Michigan State, Penn State, Michigan, Maryland, Purdue and Rutgers.
Bresee helped the Damascus Swarmin’ Hornets roll to a 14-0 record this past season, which culminated with the team’s third straight state championship.
“This is why I’m here,” Bresee said afterwards. “To come here and win games, and do it with all these people who are so passionate about football.”
Maryland was the first program to offer Bresee, back on Feb. 4, 2017. 247Sports has Bresee at an 80 percent chance of committing to the Buckeyes, but much can change between now and when he finally signs. Until then, we’ll have to be content with quick flickers of his potential, like the spin move he pulled off Sunday.
