The NFL is having a hard time stopping Ezekiel Elliott.
The Dallas Cowboys rookie and former Ohio State star went off again last week, totaling a career-high 209 total yards (114 rushing, 95 receiving) and 3 total touchdowns Sunday against the Steelers. Included in that total is a game-winning, 32-yard scoring run with just 9 second left to give Dallas the 35-30 win at Pittsburgh.
For his efforts, the likely runaway NFL Rookie of the Year was named the NFC’s Offensive Player of the Week.

The ex-Buckeye has had no problem adjusting to the NFL. Through nine games, Elliott is the league’s leading rusher with 1,005 yards, and last Sunday was already the fifth time that he topped the 100-yard mark.
Elliott is also tied for third in the NFL in total touchdowns with 10 (9 rushing, 1 receiving). He trails New England’s LeGarrette Blount (12) and San Diego’s Melvin Gordon (11).
Elliott’s current yards per game average is 111.7, which is not quite the 132.1 yards per game mark he put up during his final two years with the Buckeyes. It also has him on pace for 1,787 yards, 31 yards short of Eric Dickerson’s NFL record for rushing yards by a rookie.
