Who remembers what happened in last season’s Ohio State-Michigan football game?
Well, of course, many of us do. For Ohio State fans, it was a great ending to a regular season. For Michigan fans, not so much.
The Buckeyes won the game 31-20 and Ohio State went on to play — and defeat — Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship Game. The 11-point victory for the Buckeyes was the icing on the cake to the season — as is every Ohio State victory over Michigan.
In 2017, while Michigan’s season was taking place, cameras followed the team for an Amazon Prime series called All or Nothing: Michigan Football, which began streaming last week.
One clip from the series showed Wolverines defensive lineman Rashan Gary talking about when Michigan played Ohio State and Buckeyes quarterback J.T. Barrett got hurt and had to be replaced. Dwayne Haskins got the nod.
Prior to the substitution, Gary was talking smack:

A fan on Twitter clipped what Gary said and sent it to Haskins’ account on Sunday.

Haskins went into the game and completed 6 of 7 passes for 94 yards. He also ran for 24 yards in the eventual victory. Led by Haskins, Ohio State outscored Michigan 10-0 in the fourth quarter.
Gary may have talked the smack initially, but Haskins got the last laugh.
And on social media, the last wink.
