The Ohio State 2018 spring game was moved up in time due to weather concerns and the contest took place on Saturday, as Team Gray defeated Team Scarlet, 37-14.
Aside from the game itself, which of course had its fair share of intriguing plays, something happened off the field that may have been even more entertaining.
For gushers fans, it absolutely was more entertaining.
Ohio State DL Robert Landers came to the spring game with a golden football. OK, so?
Well, in that golden football, Landers had packs of gushers — a fruit snack — inside. For many fruit snack fans, nothing beats gushers.
Landers decided to be more than generous and hand out the delicious snacks to kids prior to the game:

Landers even tweeted about it after the game:
Have to spread the fruit snack wealth lol!!!

Landers is a good football player, but he may be an even better, caring human being. Well, fans who got free gushers today probably think so.
The 6-foot-1, 290-pound junior is fighting for a starting spot as a DT for this upcoming season.
