Saturday wasn’t a typical day at Ohio State.
For one, it’s not every day the Buckeyes beat another top-10 team by 59 points with the 62-3 rout. But Ohio State had a different day in the seats, too.
Ohio Stadium had 108,750 in attendance for Saturday’s Ohio State win vs. Nebraska — the second-highest attended game in Ohio Stadium history.
The record remains last year’s Michigan State game, when 108,975 watched the Spartans beat unbeaten Ohio State, 17-14. That topped the previous record of 108,610, when Ohio State beat Michigan in 2014, 42-28.
Of course, No. 2 Michigan looms at the end of the regular season. The Wolverines visit Ohio State for a Nov. 26 game that could challenge the record.
