Ohio State’s top-ranked recruiting class has a chance to get a lot better.
Jeffrey Okudah, a 5-star safety from South Grand Prairie (Texas) High School, released his top six schools on Twitter Monday night, and the Buckeyes made the cut.

Okudah is one of the most coveted prospects for the Class of 2017, and his offer sheet reads like a rundown of the top college football programs in the country. Clemson, Florida State, Oklahoma, Georgia and USC are the teams alongside Ohio State in the safety’s lead group.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound defensive star is rated as the nation’s No. 5 overall prospect and the No. 1 safety for 2017.
