Ohio State football’s chances at landing Marcus Washington, one of the top wide receivers in the recruiting Class of 2019, just got much better, as the 4-star prospect announced the Buckeyes in his top 6 on Sunday morning.
Washington — from Trinity Catholic High School in St. Louis — has garnered plenty of interest from some of the top programs in the nation, including Alabama, Oklahoma and Penn State, among others. However, Washington narrowed his options to Ohio State, Oregon, Texas, Missouri, Georgia and Florida State on Sunday.

The 6-foot-2, 193-pound wideout ranks as the No. 59 overall player in the nation, the No. 9 receiver and the No. 2 prospect in Missouri, according to 247Sports composite rankings.
