Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer took a break from his assuredly busy schedule Tuesday night to support Columbus’ other favorite sports team.
Meyer and his son Nathan appeared to have pretty good seats at Nationwide Arena to watch the Blue Jackets face the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 4 of their NHL playoff series. After Columbus won 5-4 to extend the series, the coach tweeted a photo of the two of them, with the message, “Jackets WIN!! Thanks @BlueJacketsNHL for a great night! O-H!!”

With the victory, the Blue Jackets staved off elimination and cut Pittsburgh’s series lead to 3-1. Columbus featured a balanced effort, with goals coming from 5 players.
Game 5 of the series will take place at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.
