Ohio State’s footprint in the NFL was maybe more evident than ever this season, thanks in large part to Buckeyes rookies.
There were first-year Buckeyes making their impacts felt on lots of rosters in the league. And the program made sure they would always be remembered in the Ohio State locker room.
Ezekiel Elliott, Joey Bosa, Michael Thomas, Cardale Jones, Braxton Miller, Darron Lee, Taylor Decker and Vonn Bell all got special lockers, which Ohio State unveiled Monday.

Lots of those players were taken early in the draft and had big rookie seasons.
Elliott was the league’s top rusher with 1,631 yards. Thomas was ninth in the NFL with 1,137 receiving yards and also hauled in nine touchdowns. On the defensive side, Bosa registered 10.5 sacks in 12 games.
