Ohio State showed some love to the Cleveland Indians on Saturday as the Tribe is on a World Series championship hunt.
The Buckeyes received support from a major piece of the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA title team.
J.R. Smith watched Ohio State’s triumph over Indiana, and even spent some time on the sideline with Buckeyes basketball coach Thad Matta.

Smith attended the Indians playoff game on Friday with some teammates, including LeBron James.

Smith, a shooting guard, helped the Cavs win their first NBA title in June when they overcame a 3-1 series deficit to beat the Golden State Warriors. However, he has still not signed a deal to play with Cleveland this season.
