LeBron James knows a thing or two about Most Valuable Player awards.
The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar has won four of them during his career in the NBA. On Sunday, he took to Twitter to give some cross-sport love to former Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott.

Elliott — who plays for James’ beloved Dallas Cowboys — had the best game of his young pro career against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Elliott gained 209 total yards, including a 32-yard game-winning touchdown run with less than a minute remaining.
He also took a screen pass 83 yards for a score in the first half.
Elliott has now rushed for 1,005 yards in his rookie season, helping the Cowboys to eight-straight wins and an 8-1 record. He’s a clear candidate for Rookie of the Year, and James isn’t the only one who believes he deserves more than that.
On the game broadcast, Fox color analyst Troy Aikman said Elliott is the frontrunner for the MVP award in his eyes.
It doesn’t hurt to have one of the world’s most famous athletes in your corner, which James certainly is. In addition to rooting for the Cowboys, James is also a noted fan of the Buckeyes.
He has to be thrilled to see Elliott playing this well.
