Joey Bosa has yet to play his first game in his new home of Los Angeles, but Tinseltown is already turning the former Ohio State defensive end into a full-fledged superstar.
In the same weekend that he was named the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year, Bosa made a cameo in a Super Bowl edition of celebrities reading mean tweets on Jimmy Kimmel Live. In the video, the Los Angeles Chargers star reads a tweet that claims he “looks like a dude who wanted for be a magician, but his parents made him focus on football.”
Current and former NFL stars Odell Beckham Jr., Von Miller, Tony Romo, Terrell Davis, Josh Norman, J.J. Watt, Michael Irvin, DeMarco Murray, Kurt Warner, Maurice Jones-Drew and Russell Wilson joined Bosa in making cameos in the video. You can watch the full version above. While the segment initially aired on Friday, the official Jimmy Kimmel Live Twitter accounted tweeted it out at halftime of Sunday’s Super Bowl. Last month, Bosa and his Chargers teammate, Phillip Rivers, appeared on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, where they were sworn in as official Los Angeleans.
In his rookie season with the Chargers, the two-time Big Ten Defensive Lineman of the Year tallied 10.5 sacks. The No. 3 overall pick of the 2016 NFL draft is already a cornerstone of the Chargers franchise as it embarks on its first season in Los Angeles.
