Ohio State DT Tracy Sprinkle posts statement about injury: ‘I will attack rehab like no one else would’
Though still coming to terms with what is likely a season-ending injury, Ohio State defensive tackle Tracy Sprinkle still took the time to share a classy note on Twitter.
Sprinkle suffered a patellar tendon injury in the season-opening win against Bowling Green. In a Sunday post, he thanked the fans for their support while also promising a return.
Sprinkle also has faith in his No. 6 Buckeyes.
Here’s what he had to say:
“First thing first, thank God I am here to see another day,” Sprinkle wrote in the note. “Time was invested, endless hours of work was put in and sacrifices were made in order to have the best season I could have. Unfortunately God has another plan for me. It left me lost, confused, hurt and discouraged. The endless support from everyone is greatly appreciated and I can’t respond to everyone but I want you to know that I am thankful. I have faced adversity my whole life, and this one hit me deep. I have faith that I will attack rehab like no one else would and return to the game that I love with vengeance! I love my team, my brothers, and my family and I know WE are still going to have a great season!”
