In Tuscaloosa, Ala. for a top-10 matchup, the College GameDay crew announced their selections for two Big Ten games on Saturday.
The usual pickers — Desmond Howard, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit — were joined by CBS broadcasting legend Verne Lundquist. And the group had a consensus for both games it picked.
All four of them picked the Wisconsin Badgers to go on the road and beat Iowa in Iowa City. So, like a lot of bettors, they think the Badgers will bounce back this week.
Herbstreit abstained from picking the Penn State-Ohio State game since he is calling the 8 p.m. game on ABC. But the rest of the group did not like the Nittany Lions chances, even in front of a raucous white out.
Lundquist even gave a shoutout to fellow broadcaster and former Penn State quarterback Todd Blackledge.
“He bleeds white and blue. He’s going to need a lot of bandages,” Lundquist joked.
