Early Sunday morning, Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman released his Top 5 Heisman Trophy candidates after Week 4.
Headlining the group was Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson, who was in the No. 1 position according to Feldman.
Representing the Big Ten at No. 3 was Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett. Though the Buckeyes didn’t play over the weekend, Feldman said the junior signal caller’s Heisman Trophy stock is still rising after “last week’s impressive showing in the romp at OU.”
In the game, Barrett was 14-for-20 for 152 yards and four touchdowns. Overall, the Buckeyes are 3-0 and sit at No. 2 in the current AP Poll.
