In case you needed any further proof that Ohio State has been churning out talent an absurd rate, the NFL just gave its Rookie of the Month awards to two of the Buckeyes’ brightest former stars.
The NFL announced Thursday morning that Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott and San Diego Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa won the league’s Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Month awards for October, adding to a list of accomplishments for the pair that includes a national championship and top-4 selections in this year’s draft.

Taken fourth overall in the draft by the Cowboys and immediately inserted as their top back, Elliott is on pace to top 1,800 yards this season and is nearly a lock to win Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Bosa’s route to the NFL has been much more turbulent, as rookie contract negotiations with the Chargers turned frigid and caused the third overall pick to miss the first four games of the season. However, he immediately showed he was worth the wait with two multisack games in his first month of action.
