Former NFL running back Ray Rice spoke to the Ohio State football team on Wednesday. Rice spoke to the Buckeyes about the importance of decision-making, asking for help and leaning on their support system.
“We’re all a moment away from being where we want to be but we’re all a moment away from losing it all,” Rice said in a video shared by Ohio State coach Urban Meyer on Twitter.

Rice was arrested in 2014 for aggravated assault against his then-fiancée and the charges were later dismissed. He was initially suspended from the NFL for two games, then indefinitely, before he appealed the decision and was reinstated. Rice last played in the NFL during the 2013 season.
Rice played for current Ohio State defensive coordinator and former Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano in college.
