Another talented Elliott is coming to Columbus.
Lailah Elliott, the sister of former Ohio State and current Dallas Cowboys star Ezekiel Elliott, is following her brother’s footsteps to the Buckeye State.
“Excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at THE Ohio State University! #GoBucks,” she tweeted Thursday.

The commitment comes only a few days after Elliott’s official visit to Ohio State. The senior at John Burroughs High School in St. Louis earned Class 3 all-state honors in four different events in 2016, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
She was second in the long jump and triple jump, third in the high jump and fifth in the 100-meter hurdles.
Ezekiel Elliott famously chose Ohio State instead of Missouri, his parents’ alma mater. Father Stacy started all four years for the Tigers in football and mother Dawn was a heptathlete in track and field.
However, Urban Meyer swayed Ezekiel Elliott to leave home behind, and last year Ohio State hired Stacy Elliott as a program assistant. With the addition of Lailah, it appears the entire family’s conversion is complete.
