Ohio State players in the NFL are matching the production of the Buckeyes in college football.
Both former running back Ezekiel Elliott and defensive end Joey Bosa were nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week.
Elliott, now with the Dallas Cowboys, had 134 yards on 15 carries and two touchdowns in a win over Cincinnati.
The former Buckeye back has 546 rushing yards and five touchdowns on the season to go with nine receptions.
Bosa, in his first action of the season for the San Diego Chargers after a contract holdout, had five tackles and two sacks against the Raiders.
Running back Jordan Howard of the Chicago Bears, linebacker Kyle Fackrell of the Green Bay Packers and quarterback Carson Wentz of the Philadelphia Eagles were also nominated for the honor.
Elliott was also nominated for the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week.
