Ezekiel Elliot visits marijuana store in Seattle, and Jerry Jones isn’t happy about it
Ezekiel Elliot stopped at a legal marijuana store in Seattle before the Cowboys preseason game against the Seahawks on Thursday, according to TMZ.
Dallas owner Jerry Jones isn’t happy.
“Well, I think that in and of itself the reason we are talking about is in a way part of the learning process,” Jones told ESPN’s Todd Archer. “But it’s not good. It’s just not good. It’s just not good.”
Marijuana is banned by the NFL, but legal in Washington. Elliot didn’t appear to make any purchases in the video.
And hey, the former Ohio State star looked just fine in his debut. He ran for 48 yards on seven carries against the Seahawks. Watch his highlights here.
“Again that’s a part of just really getting the big picture here,” Jones told the Fort Worth Star Telegram’s Clarence Hill. “No matter if you played at whatever level there is a picture here of interest. So again, I’m aware of it. I heard the report and I would know how he is. And he needs to look at that and the other thing is it’s just not good. I don’t want to say anymore. I do want us do things that in general while it may not be wrong it’s just not good.”
