On May 17, 2008, Dwayne Haskins visited Ohio State. Then 10 years old, Haskins made a prediction: “I’m going to college here.”
Haskins is now on the Ohio State roster as a redshirt freshman quarterback, and the Buckeyes shared Haskins’ home video on Wednesday. Haskins has had the look of a Buckeyes’ QB down for nearly a decade.

The video shows clips of Haskins touring the Buckeyes facility — and showing off his arm strength. He even took a picture next to a blown-up Sports Illustrated cover of Troy Smith, his favorite player.
A Potomac, Md., native, Haskins was a key piece in the Buckeyes’ 2016 recruiting class. He redshirted last season and will battle for the Buckeyes’ backup quarterback job in 2017.
Whenever he gets on the field for Ohio State, it will have been a long time coming.
