During a Friday segment on College Football Live, a few ESPN analysts discussed if Ohio State deserved to be favored by double digits in all of their remaining eight games this season — including its season finale against No. 4 Michigan.
David Pollack agreed, calling the No. 2 Buckeyes “the best team in the country.”
“I think they’re the best team in the country. …I think they can win every game, and I think they can win the national title,” said the College GameDay analyst. “I love the experience of J.T. (Barrett), I love the athleticism, the youth, the trying, the effort they’ve shown so far.”
Pollack added he thought Urban Meyer’s team has the best secondary in college football.
Former Buckeyes player and current ESPN analyst Joey Galloway was also on the segment, but he wouldn’t go as far as Pollack. Galloway said he’d still probably take Alabama, Clemson or Washington over Ohio State if the teams were playing on a neutral site.
