The NFL’s leading rusher is playing for a 5-1 team and he should be in the MVP discussion, says Dan Patrick.
Only six games into his professional career, Ezekiel Elliott is knifing through defenses and is now working his way into the discussion for the league’s Most Valuable Player. The former Ohio State running back has racked up an astonishing 703 yards in six games (117.3 yards per game) and has scored five touchdowns.
Combine that with the surprising 5-1 Cowboys who lead the NFC East, and Patrick said Zeke should among the names for MVP on his radio show.
“I know it’s early to say this, but I’m jumping in early. I have to look at someone as a MVP candidate here, and I have to look at Ezekiel Elliott as an MVP candidate here.”
