The season is certainly young, but Dallas Cowboys rookie Ezekiel Elliott has already made quite a splash.
Elliott, who leads the league in rushing through five games, joined Eric Dickerson and Mike Anderson Sunday as the only rookies to rush for 130 yards or more in three consecutive games.
He also did this Sunday:

And, in a franchise that has seen its share of legendary running backs, Elliott has undoubtedly gotten off to the best start.

Zeke started the season slowly, rushing for 134 total yards in his first two games combined. Since then, he has been mostly unstoppable. In Sunday’s win against Cincinnati, he rushed for 134 yards and tacked on an additional 37 through the air.
Now, does this mean Ezekiel Elliott will end up as the greatest running back in Cowboys franchise history? Certainly not. But it doesn’t not mean that, either.
Elliott and the Cowboys travel to Green Bay next week ahead of their bye week.
