Ohio State running back Curtis Samuel has found himself wrapped up in one of the weirdest story lines of the bowl season, as he was weirdly groped by Clemson defensive tackle Christian Wilkins in the Fiesta Bowl.
Immediately following the game and in the days after, Wilkins and fellow Clemson player Ben Boulware explained what they thought of Wilkins’ ill-mannered action.
Samuel, who responded to what Boulware said on Twitter, didn’t really buy that.
We don't rock like that this way https://t.co/NmQWteKpjo

Samuel’s teammates took to Twitter, as they also didn’t buy into the Clemson explanation of what happened when Wilkins grabbed Samuel.
The incident happened in the second quarter of Ohio State’s 31-0 loss to Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl, which was also the College Football Playoff semifinal.

At this point, discussing Wilkins “grab” on Samuel is almost akin to adding insult to injury.
This is just a weird one all around.
