No. 1 Alabama is a two-touchdown favorite over No. 4 Washington in the 2016 College Football Playoff, while No. 2 Clemson is actually an underdog against No. 3 Ohio State.
The Buckeyes are roughly a 3-point favorite, depending on the sports book. Some have them as low as 2.5, others as high as 3.5. Alabama is hovering around -14 against the Huskies.
Ohio State hasn’t been an underdog since it beat Alabama and Oregon en route to the first College Football Playoff title two years ago.

The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook released betting lines on potential matchups against Alabama earlier in the week, and made the Crimson Tide at least a touchdown favorite over anyone in the country.
-8.5 over Ohio State
-11.5 over Clemson
-13.5 over Washington
-11.5 over Michigan
-17.5 over Wisconsin
-21 over Penn State
Westgate oddsmaker Jeff Sherman said USC would be a 6-point favorite over Penn State in the Rose Bowl, and that Washington would be a 4.5-point favorite over the Nittany Lions in a hypothetical game.
