One of the top wide receivers in the 2018 class has mutual interest with Ohio State.
Brennan Eagles, a 247Sports 5-star recruit from Houston, released his top-10 list on Sunday afternoon. The Buckeyes are the lone Big Ten representative in a field crowded with big names, including two teams from his home state: Texas and TCU.

The 6-foot-3.5, 214-pound Eagles is considered the fourth-best receiver in the 2018 class based on the 247Sports composite rankings, and the No. 3 recruit from talent-rich Texas.
Ohio State’s 2018 class is already full of highly ranked players, currently ranked fourth in the nation with nine commits. All nine are rated among the top 201 players in 2018 and eight are in the top 86.
However, Ohio State does not yet have any wide receivers in its class, so Eagles would be a huge addition.
