5-star guard Troy Brown has Ohio State basketball among finalists
Ohio State is in play for one of the nation’s elite players in the class of 2017.
Troy Brown released his top eight schools on Thursday with Ohio State listed. He’s the No. 13 player in the country, according to 247Sports, and lists Arizona, Oregon, Kansas, Georgetown, Alabama, California and UNLV as his other options.
The 6-foot-6 Brown is listed as a small forward, but plays point guard for Centennial High School in Las Vegas.

247Sports’ crystal ball has Cal as the favorite, but also listed Duke as one of his options. The Blue Devils didn’t make his top eight.
