Antwuan Jackson officially became a Buckeyes player when he signed his letter of intent during the early signing period on Dec. 20. However, the defensive tackle’s collegiate career has gotten off on the wrong foot.
During National Signing Day on Wednesday, Jackson showed up to media availability with crutches and a boot on his left foot. According to Land of 10’s Austin Ward, the 4-star recruit has a foot fracture.

While there is still plenty of time for Jackson’s injury to heal before the beginning of the season, he could miss the early stages of spring camp.
Jackson — from Cedar Grove High School in DeKalb County, Ga. — is the No. 1 overall ranked recruit among all players from junior colleges in the 2018 recruiting class.
